Leaving Deepdale today was Simpson's first signing, Danny Pugh. After 18 months at the club the out of favour left sided player was linked with Stoke only to be told that the proposed move was rejected at the weekend. The move is now back on with Pugh signing until the end of December with more permenant terms hinted at in the New Year.
