Relief is all around Deepdale this week, as influential skipper Lucketti will be back in the back four to face strugglers Bradford on Saturday.
Boss Craig Brown insists that with the skipper, we would have won a lot more games if he were in the team, stating: “I’m convinced that if he had been playing we wouldn’t have lost a few games we have lost recently.
“After we beat West Brom, we were beaten at Watford and at home to Milwall. I don’t think we would have lost either of those games if Chris were in the side.
“His injury has definitely affected the team. He is a dominant figure and a great leader. The side is never quite the same without him.”
