The 22 year old midfielder has handed in a written request which manager Paul Simpson is thinking over. Mccormack has only appeared for the Whites on three occassions this season all as a substitute and now feels his chances have diminshed further with the arrival of Miller.
Mccormack first appeared for North End under Craig Brown but has failed consistently to get into the first team under Brown, Davies and now Simpson. He has had three loan spells with some success north of the border at Motherwell who were said to be interested in signing the player on a more permanent basis.
Manager Simpson is set to consider all options before allowing Mccormack to leave.
