The striker who might never have been signed at all if it wasn't for Lee Trundle's injury has been playing on a month by month basis for North End although if he leaves the club he will be unable to join a new club until January.
The deals have been put in place due to the fact that Sodje has a knee injury and with his age being the wrong side of 30 Preston did not want to offer a permanent contract.
Sodje has been offered another monthly deal by Preston as he looks to continue his good early season form.
