The loan market temporarily shuts down next Thursday for just over a month until the transfer market opens again on New Years Eve. Preston are trying to fill gaps in the squad until the transfer market re-opens in January.
Jemal Johnson has three games left on his loan deal but it is thought this might be exetended until the New Year.
Billy Davis is looking to strenghten his squad before the shutdown. Possibilities include another striker, cover in central defence and the left wing where due to the abscence of Lewis Neal, Preston have been short of a real left sided midfielder.
