It has been issued by The Sun this week that Fuller was on his way out of Deepdale after only one season, but Footymad at Preston can reveal that there has been no contact from Leeds to Preston, with a situation to lure Fuller from PNE.
Chairman Derek Shaw issued: "It's putting two and two together and getting five again.
"Adrian Heath, who scouts for Peter Reid, was at our game against Hibs and I think the press at the game have just picked a name out of a hat to link to Leeds!"
Even if he did look at Fuller for Reid, he must have gone away feeling disappointed at what he saw, as Fuller still lacked match fitness and looked like he needed at least a few more games under his belt before he was prepared for the new season.
