No Official Word

The board at West Brom appear to have a shortlist of which Irvine is one. No official statement has been forthcoming from either West Brom or Preston but if unofficial sources are to be believed then Irvine was interviewed for the job at some stage this week although if he accepts the position Preston will receive compensation of around £1 million.
