The pre-match news wasall about Jodan Hugill who travelled with the squad but then was left out of the matchday line up as the club citing that his head was not right with various transfer rumours floating around.
The absence of Hugill did not make any difference as Robinson played up frot supported by Barkhuizen and Bodin who had s best night in a Preston shirt.
High pressing saw Preston steal the ball well up field and Bodin converted with his left foot to gve Preston a first half lead. They never looked back after that point.
Barkhuizen headed in a second before Bodin was tripped in the box allowing Daniel Johnson the opportunity to score from the spot to seal the victory.
North End have remained just outside the top six since their injury crisis earlier inthe season. If they are to have a chance of making the play offs then consisteny over the next couple of months will be key.
