Nowland Suffers injury Blow

Preston suffered another injury blow today as the scorer of their first goal Adam Nowland sufferd a broken fibia and tibia meaning he could be out for a while. Former North Ender Dickson Etuhu went in with raised studs and caught Nowland on the shin. The Preston management were very unhappy at the tackle as an impression of Etuhu's studs were left underneath Nowland's shin pad.

This leaves Davies short of options in midfield with both Mckenna and O'Neill injured and Jones finishing his loan period.
