Nugent Wins Award

David Nugent picked up the plaudits as he won the Football League Young Player of the year. The youngster who has been at Deepdale a little over twelve months has been propelled into the limelight by helping Preston to the play-off final last season and gaining honours at under 21 level for his country. Nugent hopes to keep up the good form by helping North End back to Cardiff with a dozen games to go.
