Ormerod Stays Put

Ormerod has very rarely featured under Alan Irvine and may well move on in the summer and showed his frustrations by requesting a loan move. Reluctantly this was granted and a switch to Morecambe was all penned in until Beattie got injured in Preston's game at Leicester.

If Ormerod were to leave then that would leave Preston with only three fit strikers at a time when they need as many goals as they can possibly get. Ormerod is now set to stay as they assess Beattie's injury although the loan market does shut in three weeks time.
