PNE lose Fuller appeal

Manager Craig Brown had hoped that video footage would clear his joint top-scorer but pictures on both Sky and other TV concentrates on the injury to Richard Cresswell.

Fuller will now miss the next three matches against Walsall, Reading and Portsmouth.

However, he will return for the big derby clash at home to Burnley on Saturday 2nd November and the Worthington Cup Third Round clash with Birmingham City at St Andrews three days later.

Craig Brown told the clubs website: "We are very disappointed because we were sure the video footage would have vindicated our appeal, but it was not to be and we have to accept the suspension.

"We are very lucky in that we still have some quality strikers at the club. We will obviously miss Ricardo but we have an adaptable squad of players and have a number of options open to us."
