Polish Striker On Trial

Simpson moved a step closer to resolving that problem by handing Polish international Lucasz Sosin a trial at Deepdale. The tall youngster is set for a few days training with North End hoping for a move from Cypriot side Apollon Limassol.

He played for his national side and scored twice in a 2-1 victory over Saudi Arabia and recently played a Champions League qualifier against Cork City. The youngster is highly rated.
