Preston made made a net pre-tax loss for the last financial year of £9.17 million with an operating loss of £5.94 million. Staff costs have risen by 25% in the same period now at £11.24 million for the year which is almost entirely due to player wages.
The losses do not include the sale of Paul Mckenna and the impending sale of St Ledger which will recoup the club around £5.5 million.
