Preston started their pre-season with a victory away at Salford on Saturday. North End won the friendly 3-1 thanks to goals from Sinclair, Bodin and a late Harrop goal.
Much of the squad got a workout although in reality with the old season barely finished most of the team had only been away for a couple of weeks before training had resumed.
Several pre-season games have now been announced. Preston will play Tranmere this Tuesday. A further game is set to be played the following Tuesday although no opponent has been confirmed.
North End will complete their pre-seasonw ith a Gmae against Sheffield United on Friday 4 September before playing Everton a day later. This should allow all of the squad to get a game ahead of the season opener the following weekend.
