Changes wree made due to injury and also because Doyle was unable to feature against his parent club. Huntington was still not fit and Humphrey will now be out for two months so options were limited.

The first half lacked any attack of note. It was pretty similar to the first half at Sheffield Wednesday except this time Preston made no mistakes and both sides seemed to be sparring.
After the break both teams became a bit more adventurous. Preston hit the bar with a Clarke header before the captain went of with a shoulder injury which could see him out for a while.
Pickford made a decent save from a free kick and there were at least two scarambles in the Preston box with shots blocked and then cleared but that apart Pickford remained relatively untroubled.
It wasn't the most exciting game but Grayson will want to build on this draw as Preston remain in the relegation zone as they travel to Charlton on Tuesdya night.
