Jordan is on a free transfer and Phil Brown is looking to tie up a deal for the left back ahead of Saturday's opener in order to try to get his preferred back four together. Jordan has spent the last couple of weeks on trial at Preston looking to earn a deal and appears to have impressed sufficiently to be offered a contract.
