It has been a merry go round for the numbe rone slot at Preston this season. The pre-season chase was all aboput Sam Johnstone. Due to United's problems with De Gea, United would not release Johnstone.
On the eve of the season preston signed Jordan Pickford on loan for the season. The youngster performed so well that he returned to Sunderland in January.
Kirkland deputised for the season but has been released after his year contract ended. Johnstone came back to Preston for a month before Andres Lindegaard was recruited on loan.
Lindegaard's loan has now finished but he does want to leave West Brom and a permanent deal might become reality. Hudson, the youngster played once as a substitute against Leeds.
Chris Maxwell has been released by Fleetwood and straight away rumours were swirling that he could be one of two keepers that Grayson looks to sign this summer although there has been nothing firm.
