Preston Pick Up Away Point

The performance at best was average but Preston did have the best of the first half against a Doncaster team that struggled to get going. Preston opened the scoring from a Lonergan kick which Wallace placed through for Brown. He should have been stopped but managed to fire in for a tight angle.

Doncaster came out stronger int he second half forcing Lonergan into an excellent save before the rebound hit the post. Preston's only real chance was fluffed by Sedgewick.

Injuries to Mawene and Wallace dirupted the side but Preston just weren't up for the fight as Doncaster came pouring forward and abetter side may well have finished Preston off. Instead, Doncaster settled for a goal from a set piece and a share of the spoils.
