We keep banging on that it is points not performances that matter but North End have been producing neither in recent weeks. Automatic is now too far out of reach for my liking and some form needs to be maintained if we are to stay in the play off positions.
Mawene and Anyinsah are still out despite the former stepping up his comeback in the reserves. Ormerod and Davidson are a doubt alongside Matt Hill but that apart Simpson has a whole host of players to pick from for the two Easter games where North End really now need to pick up 6 vital points if they are to stay ahead of the pack in the play off positions.
