The players return for training after what will be a seven week absence on 1 July back at Springfields. They won't be in Preston long though as Irvine is following a similar routine to last year whicking the squad away to Austria for a mini training camp before returning to face Bamber Bridge and Chorley on 14 July.
The squad is expected to take on two games whilst over in Austria. Last year they only managed one as the second match fell by the wayside. Irvine is set to put the squad through their paces in what will be an even tougher pre-season than last year.
