The Walsall striker had interest Preston for some time. North End admitted that a bid was made which was believed to be in the region of £500,000. Various other clubs were interested includign Reading who made an offer of £750,000.
It appeared yesterday that Bradshaw had made a tarnsfer request to push through a deal with Bristol City becoming the favourites to sign the frontman. Grayson effectively admitted that Preston were not willing to pay over the odds for a striker.
Preston are now left with three strikers until the end of the season who have yet to reach double digits between them. North End are unlikely to loan anyone save for an emergency given that they already have the matchday limit for loan players.
