It is unlikely that the new Pavilion Stand will be opened until the start of the season but prices ahve been reduced to £12 for adults and £6 for concessions - the same as the League Cup match against Chesterfield.
The league fixtures are announced on Monday and Preston have requested that their first fixture be played away as a precaution in case there are any last minute problems with the new stand. The stand is set to be complete by 2 August a full seven days prior to the start of the season but the request was put in last year as a preacutionary measure.
The club have said that the stand will most likely remain closed for the Chesterfield cup game due to the inevitable low turn out but will be in full operational use for Preston's first home game of the season - most likely to be onhe second Saturday of the season unless the Football League ignore North End's request and place them at home for the opening fixture.
