Daley and Lingzani started the final pre-season game with the Jamaican winger playing on the left hand side where Keith Treacy would normally feature. Daley looked lively and is certain to be offered a contract no matter what happens.
LInganzi has impressed Brown and appears out of the picture at Rovers and would be a powerful addition to the Preston squad. It is believed that if Barton leaves the club, a one year season long loan will be agreed to bring Linganzi to the club.
