It took Simonsen a little longer than Richard Wright to belieev that all is not well with life at Deepdale. There is even a rumour that Stuckmann is moving on to pastures new as well.
A week after being blamed for the defeat to Coventry, Simonsen has agreed with the club to leave by mutual consent. It all seems a bit strange given that the lad appears to have suffered a knee ligamnet injury in the defeat to Coventry.
A replacement in the form of Rhys Taylor has been found and employed on a non contractual basis. Once again North End appear to be making a mockery of themselves and their transfer policy.
Simonsen has lasted half a season, slightly longer than Amoo and less than Holroyd (although he was on loan for half a season). Add to this the number of loan players and it appears that Westley really is playing roullette when it comes to finding a decent player. He's unlikely to hit the jackpot anytime soon.
