Since the return of Neil Lennon it has been difficult for Sinclair to get game time. Preston swooped with Sinclair being out of contract in the summer. The offocial line is that an undisclosed fee was agreed.

It will be interesting to see how Neil operates Sinclair. The Preston boss now has an abundance of front players who he positions left or right of the main frontman. Sinclair can easily operate in that role but Preston's struggle for goals so it may well be in time that Sinclair is asked to operate as the main striker.
The forward has signed a two and a half year deal. It will be interesting to see how things develop over time and if he impresses whether he will be targeted by top flight clubs.
