Preston have a busy schedule coming up with plenty at points to play for. Forest away on paper looked a tricky task with the East Midlands club sitting high up in the table looking for a play off place.
North End managed to seal a victory to push them into a comforatble midtable position. The early season worries seem to have temporarily disappeared and despite a mounting injury list the club now seem to be looking upwards rather than down.
The goal came from Lewis Moult who has found a decent run of form. Preston now appear to be playing to his strengths and the striker scored another poacher's goal from the corner as he tapped in from around a yard out.
Rudd was retained in nets despite his error at Birmingham. He kept a clean sheet and prevented Forest from scoring. He will be releived to be back out on the pitch putting in a performance.
North End now have games against teams in and around them. They face Millwall at home before Sheffield Wednesday away just prior to Christmas. The games come thick and fast but if Preston can pick up points then the table will look even healthier.
