Some Fortune Heading To Deepdale

Irvine is believed to have been in London speaking to Charlton defender Jonathan Fortune. Preston are short of cover at the back and see Fortune as ideal to fill the central defnsive role with both Chilvers and Trotman out for the start of the season.

Fortune has progressed through the ranks at Charlton but has also had loan spells at Mansfield and Stoke throughout his career.
