The duo were expected to return to Stoke after this weekend's clash as their one month loan was set to expire. After improving Preston's fortunes, Darren Ferguson approached Stoke to extend the loan period for both players.
Pulis has now allowed the pair to stay at Deepdale until 16 January but they will not be eligible for the FA Cup game against Nottingham Forest. This is combined with De Laet's loan which has been extended until 3 January. All three have had a positive influence on the team's performance alongside fellow loanee Leon Cort who is expected to return to Burnley at the turn of the year.
