The striker who seemed out of favour at the end of last season had requested a move to get more first team football. After the arrival of Hughill and Little, Beavon's chances were even more limited.
The club have allowed Beavon to go on a season long loan to Burton with the option of a recall in January. His contract expires next Summer so it is more than likely that the striker has played his last game for Preston.
