Both clubs today confirmed that Iain Hume would continue his loan spell until 15 December. Technically he could have been recalled today due to a clause in his contract but Barnsley have allowed him to stay.
Paul Hayes has been allowed to go in the opposite direction and has joined Barnsley on loan until 1 January 2010. It is though that this was the proposed deal last week when talks appeared to break down.
Hume will now face his old club, Leicester at the weekend.
