During the season Preston were linked with a number of strikers, one of whom was Hibernian's Steven Fletcher. Several clubs have been sniffing around the hot shot including Real Madrid but Hibernian today denied that the Spanish giants had made an £800,000 bid for the striker.
One player who has been on the move is ex-Preston player Marlon Broomes who has today moved from Stoke to local rivals Blackpool.
