Preston have declared an interest in two unnamed players and negotiations appear to be ongoing to try to bring the pair to the club before the squad jets off to Austria for some pre-season training.
The club have also denied that any further bids have come in for club captain, Paul Mckenna who has been strongly linked with a move to Forest to work with former boss Billy Davies after two earlier bids were rejected by the board.
Out of favour Darren Carter is also set to move on in the Summer with Leicester preparing to make a bid of around £750,000 for the midfielder. Carter is expected to head back to the Midlands and link up with Nigel Pearson who he has worked with previously.
