Andy Lonergan is not moving to Everton as some sources had earlier suggested. He will, however, be training with the Premiership outfit two to three times a week to freshen up his training. No loan deal has been agreed for Lonergan and no permanent deal can be agreed until the Summer. Preston will continue to pay his wages and he will stay as a member of the squad.
Reserve Everton keeper, Ian Turner will be heading to Deepdale on a 93 day loan. Brown has said this is merely to give Lonergan some competition with Preston short in that department. It is unknown if the deal will become permanent int he Summer.
