Twellman Re-Ignites Link

Twellman who is out with an ankle injury has suggested that his current side are doing reasonably well without him and would manage quite adequalty should he leave the States.

The striker is managed by ex-Liverpool player Steve Nicol but it is the MLS who decide whether a player can mover overseas as they own all the players' contracts. Preston bid in the region of £1.8 million in January but the offer was knocked back by the MLS.

Twellman wants to move but it is a case of Preston either improving their previous offers of the MLS submitting to the player's demands.
