Preston Lose Ground

Preston named a changed side with no captain Paul Mckenna amongst the squad. Carter and Sedgewick started in midfield which shows how weak the Preston side was.

Charlton are set to be relegated in the next few weeks but Preston could not unlock the door which would have seen them keep pace with the top six. It now looks with six games left that Preston will fall just short of the top six places.
