Preston North End recorded a fifth consecutive draw with a stalemate against Leicester City.
This goalless encounter means Preston fans are still looking for their team to win at home this season.
The Lilywhites had new boy Jemal Johnson, on a month's loan from Blackburn, and the 20-year-old American striker was in action almost immediately.
But it was not in the way he would have wanted, as he was booked after 11 minutes after being adjudged to have dived after a challenge by Rab Douglas.
Matt Hill saw a close-range header tipped around the post, before Patrick Agyemang rounded the goalkeeper but saw his shot hit the bar. However, Agyemang was ruled to have been offside anyway.
Callum Davidson headed wide from five yards after Paul McKenna's cross just before the break.
The visitors had the better of the second half and Iain Hume saw a shot saved, before David Jones' long-range effort tested Douglas from a rare Preston attack.
Johannes Gudjonsson had three late chances but fired a 25-yard free-kick wide and twice found Carlo Nash equal to his efforts.
